Trustworthiness

One thing that indicates a trustworthy company is a published address and phone number on the site, and Essay.Expert does have both of these. There is a customer service department which is available by phone, email, and Skype, and that further indicates that the company is legitimate. We ordered a research paper with a deadline of 6 days and did receive it on time. We can state that Essay.Expert is not a fraud or scam.

Writer Quality/Writer Expertise

The writing found on the site itself is relatively well-done with just a few grammatical and structural errors. However, there were no samples of writing to be found. There were 2 infographics on procrastination and CEO’s who became millionaires, but these were produced by other sources and pasted into the site link. The only factors we could use in determining writer quality were Essay.Expert customer reviews that we found on social media (there were only a few) and our own experience in receiving a research paper. Customer comments were relatively positive. The paper we received was formatted correctly and used appropriate sources; however, the quality and style of writing was more reflective of a high school work, and there were quite a few errors in sentence structure.

The company advertises that all of its writers have advanced degrees and that they come with significant academic writing experience. As well, they state that all writers are native English-speaking experts in their fields. Without more sample work and customer comments, it is difficult to truly assess this. It is difficult to believe that our writer has a Master’s degree and is an expert writer.

Overall, our Essay.Expert rating is “Fair.” This could change in the future, once the company is more established and has perhaps accumulated a larger writing staff.

Pricing and Discounts

Essay Expert prices begin at $10 per page according to the pricing page. There is a pricing chart; however, it is blank which we certainly found odd. There is no way to have an estimate of pricing without completing the order form in full. Further there was no evidence of any Essay.Expert discounts on the site, and we saw no place for an Essay.Expert promo code on the order form. Our paper, an 8-page research work with 4 resources, was $153.00. To obtain a “top” writer, the price would have been $240.74. Perhaps as the company grows, it will be able to publish some Essay Expert coupon codes that will give new or returning customers a pricing discount.

Additional Features

There were none of the additional features that are commonly found on other writing service websites – no free pages and no quality control review. The customer support department was not available after business hours.

Conclusion

Our Essay Expert review attempted to look at all aspects of the company; unfortunately there was not enough information to provide as thorough a review as we would have liked. In terms of Essay.Expert pros and cons, we would have to say that they do produce academic writing which is at least of fair quality and they do deliver works on time. On the other hand, we are concerned about writing quality and the fact that there are no samples of writing on the site, not even a blog to which writers might have contributed. As well, we could not find and Essay Expert BBB membership.
